Summary[]
Cornelius Crownsteed is a wizard apprentice at the Astral Academy. He and his fellow students were present when an explosion destroyed the room keeping the Academy's spell parchments. After adventuring through the land to gather them back up, they defeat the lich who caused the trouble and return to their studies. (This is the plot of the game Nine Parchments.) Sometime after this and the events of Trine 4, Cornelius finds a magical music box with a malignant spirit that puts him and the other students under a sleep spell.

Cornelius is a timid but sincere young man, eager to make new friends and prove himself to his family. He is the first wizard in his lineage and feels a lot of pressure to become a good one. Rather than specialize in a spell type like the others, he tries to learn a variety of spells and develop his overall magical ability.
