A Wintery Morning is the first level in Trine 4. This is Amadeus's tutorial level. No other heroes are available.
This is our introduction to Amadeus and what he has been up to since the last game.
- Narrator: Once Upon a Time, Amadeus the Wizard was waking up in a cottage high up in the mountains. He was far, far away from home, attending a Wizarding Conference with his fellow wizards. And that morning he decided a trip to the mailbox was in order, even if this box was located at a very inconvenient distance.
- Amadeus: Time to find that mailbox!

Upon reaching the mail box, Amadeus retrieves a scroll and a flash back plays.
