Good day Gamers!

I don't know how I managed it, but I did it! I created pages for almost every major character in the series. I didn't do a full page write up on each of them, but I did include sections with descriptions of what info would go there. If you're in the mood to write up a character description or two, have at it!

I will be moving on to the locations/regions pages. I hope to come up with a layout like I did for the character pages, so fingers crossed!

I hope everyone had a good winter holiday and New Year!

I have been trying to wrap my head around reworking the Character page/category. It currently lists basic enemies as characters (which does fit with the definition given on the page), but I feel that these enemies should only be listed in enemies. Honestly, the entire page needs to be redesigned and rewritten to cover the entire series. *sigh*

I have a preliminary list of characters that need to be added. I just need to figure out…well, everything. Will the other character pages look like the hero pages? Will they be separated by what game they appear in? What if they’re in multiple entries? Does Linus C. get a page? Is the Goblin King a character or an enemy? Does Trine(artifact) need a separate page from Trine(person)? Where should the known history of Dwarves be listed? How many times am I going to get Isabel and Rosabel mixed up?

What I’m trying to say is that I’m gonna need a minute. And the process is gonna be in the moment. So things are gonna be messy for a bit (okay, for a while). But I’m gonna get it done, hopefully without keyboard smashing text and sounding like a caveman while describing characters.

I know most users are just readers, but if anyone wants to help out (add your knowledge, expand descriptions, etc), go for it! As Moss2Magic likes to say, “getting the first draft done is the hardest. You can’t edit a blank page, but you can expand a few sentences into a paragraph”. And as I like to simplify, “better to have something than nothing. You can do something with something, but no one can do anything with nothing.”

Hello Gamers!

I hope everyone enjoyed the end of November, whether that included holidays or not.

I spent the holidays watching playthroughs of Trine 2 & 4 to collect all the level intro dialogue and secrets dialogue. For Trine 2, they don't have character dialogue for the secrets. I couldn't find a good video where they actually show the secrets, so I braved the game again to find all the secrets on my save file.

I've posted and formatted the collections for Trine 2, 4, & 5! We're still missing the images, but there should be enough info to be helpful. Also, nearly all of the game's levels have their intro dialogue posted, along with their numerical data. We still need descriptions like the Trine 1 levels have, but that's a different task for another time.

With those two major tasks out of the way, we will begin working on updating Hazards and expanding the Characters list.

Hey Gamers!

The Trine 5 level pages are in a good enough state for me to leave them for now. I would like to thank Moss2Magic for getting the Trine 5 Achievements page up and running.

As the holidays approach, we will be turning our sights towards what is missing for each game. Over the next few weeks, I aim to expand the level pages and make collection pages for the remaining games. After that, I hope to start work on expanding the list of characters.

A little progress each day adds up.

Announcement time! I’m done recording the info from Trine 5 for the level pages! *insert celebratory noises here*

I have started the process of expanding the pages, and can’t wait to finish this pass of info.

This will probably be our biggest update before the holiday season starts rolling in, but don’t worry! I’m not going to totally disappear! I have so many ideas for this wiki that I can’t wait to share!

We haven’t made much progress on the wiki this week, but it will work out. I’m currently on hour 2.5 of a 7 hour video so I can collect all the interesting stuff for the level pages. Why am I so cruel to myself? :*)

I decided to edit the Nav Bar to include Trine 5…we made it work. I hope that the current iteration works for now. We will be adding more to the Nav Bar as more pages and categories are created.

In other news, the initial Trine 5 level pages are up! We will be adding more info to them as I collect it. Have a good day!

Hello everyone! I am the new (currently temporary) admin of the Trine wiki. I have several plans on how to update the wiki, and will be working together with user Moss2Magic to make the wiki easier to navigate and understand, as well as adding needed pages.

On that note, I have noticed that many users have been looking for Trine 5 levels. I am currently playing through Trine 5 (on the last act!) and will begin adding level pages within the next 2 weeks. I have several ideas on what to put on these pages, but I would love to have input from the community! You can look at the level pages from the previous games to get an idea of what info we’ll have for our first pass. Looking forward to hearing from you!
